The Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry is commonly known as the Scottish Rite. It is one of several appendant groups of the worldwide fraternity known as Freemasonry. Our building is almost a century old, though the Asheville Scottish Rite body is older than that and holds ties that include builders of the Biltmore Estate, the Basilica, the monument on Pack Square and many other area buildings.
The Valley of Asheville is a non profit fraternity and seeks to promote awareness and charity toward Ritecare, the public school system, the surrounding community and among the brethren.
RiteCare is a charity that improves the quality of life and health for children who have language and learning disabilities.
Additionally we are an active participant in the community and hope you will join us for future public events. Check back here or on our website for more information.
